deep blue is the orchestra re-imagined
for
the 21st century
If I were to tell you
about an orchestra which had no conductor, no music stands and no stuffy
traditions…an orchestra where you don’t
have to know when to clap and when to be quiet, you can just enjoy it…that
orchestra would be deep blue.
Deep blue has broken free from the constraints of a traditional orchestra
creating performances that are fun, dynamic, sexy, entertaining and rule
breaking.
It is part band, part orchestra and part theatre. Deep blue marries the
traditional string section of the orchestra with a 5th section – digital
and electronics. With cameras, big screens, dynamic lighting, deep blue
delivers a rich mix
of classical, pop and film music with magnificent sound and light, images
and stories.
The concept of deep blue evolved through audiences wanting to experience
the power of the music in a presentation and environment that they have
grown to expect from other forms of entertainment.
Whether you like traditional orchestral music or not, deep blue is something
you should see for yourself.
