
In
2008, the Centenary of Rugby League will be celebrated in Australia, the pinnacle
of which will undoubtedly be the hosting of the thirteenth Rugby League World
Cup (RLWC08).RLWC08 will be contested by ten nations over eighteen matches
in twelve different venues along the East Coast. Seven nations are in a race
for the last three berths in RLWC08 joining Australia, New Zealand, England,
France, Papua New Guinea, Tonga and Fiji.
The final round of European qualifying matches will be played on November
4 with Ireland, Lebanon and Russia (Pool 1) and Scotland and Wales (Pool
2) competing.
The top team from each of those pools will qualify for the Rugby League World
Cup. The runners-up in each pool will join Samoa and the USA in the repechage
playoffs in mid-November to determine the final qualifier for the tournament.

CONDITIONS
Australian residency was a condition of the November 7 2007 onsale. Patrons
wishing to access tickets to RLWC08 who reside overseas were directed to
our Travel Partners. The international onsale open to all visitors
will be from Monday 18th February 2008
Tickets are issued by Rugby League World Cup Australia 2008 (“RLWC08”)
on the following terms and conditions (“Conditions”).
1. The use, or attempted use, of the
ticket binds the holder to the Conditions and a breach of any Condition
may, in addition to any other remedy and even if the holder of the ticket
did not have notice of the Condition of the breach, result
in refusal of entry, eviction from the venue, cancellation of the ticket
and non-refund of the price of the ticket.
2. The Conditions incorporate the rules
and regulations of the venue at which the match is played, copies of which
are available from the venues on request. In any conflict between these
Conditions and such rules and regulation, these Conditions will prevail.
3. RLWC08 reserves the right to withdraw,
reschedule or substitute a match and / or vary advertised programs, prices,
venues, seating arrangements and capacities.
4. RLWC08 reserves the right not to
replace tickets where seating is not allocated (general admission tickets).
5. Where concessions are applicable,
suitable and valid identification must be provided for collection of tickets
and at the venue.
6. The ticket holder must comply with
all requests and directions of RLWC08.
7. The purchaser and the holder of
the ticket agree it is an essential condition of the right of admission
to the match conferred on the holder of this ticket that the holder of
the ticket agrees:
a. Not to resell, offer to resell or
transfer the ticket at a premium of over 10% of the face value including
via online auction sites;
b. Not to use it for advertising, promotion
or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions)
or to enhance the demand for other goods and services; and
c. Not to bundle it with other goods
and services, without RLWC08’s prior consent.
8. The holder of this ticket agrees
not to bring any claim or proceeding against RLWC08 for any damage, loss,
injury or liability suffered while attending a match. Except for liability
that by law cannot be excluded, RLWC08 excludes all liability to the holder
in tort (including negligence), contract or bailment for acts or omissions
of RLWC08, its employees and contractors arising out of or in relation
to a match or RLWC08.
9. RLWC08 will not refund or exchange
any ticket except as required by law. If a refund is made, RLWC08
and its agents may, to the extent permitted by law, retain any fee it has
charged.
10. RLWC08 reserves the right to refuse entry if tickets are
lost, stolen, forgotten, damaged, forged or illegible or are purchased
from an unauthorised point of sale.
11. Photographs taken within the venue may be used only for
private non-commercial purposes. Publication / distribution of such photographs
in any media is forbidden. Making / distributing of broadcasts, commentary,
news reports or statistics (by any means in any format or media including
any such commentary made by mobile phone or other wireless device) is forbidden.
12. The ticket holder (i) consents to the broadcasting or other
distribution of images of him / herself whilst at the venue and (ii) waives
on an irrevocable worldwide, perpetual basis all rights to object to such
broadcasting / distribution in any media.
13. The ticket holder agrees not to engage in any ambush marketing
that would infringe the rights of those parties commercially associated
with the match and / or RLWC08.

International customers please note that individual tickets to all matches
will be available for purchase from Monday 18th February 2008. International
mailing is not available for this match, all tickets will be available for

I am not an Australian
resident can I book tickets and travel for RLWC08?
Yes, international patrons may purchase tickets and travel packages through
our official travel partners or through the relevant ticketing agencies. For
further information regarding travel packages for Rugby League World Cup
2008 please email travel@rlwc08.com and one of our sales team will be in
contact. Individual tickets for sale to international residents will
be available from Monday 18th February 2008. Ticketsfor the Browne
Park match may be collected from the Pilbeam Theatre during office hours
or alternatively at the Box Office on match day.
When will the final participating nations be decided?
Seven nations are in a race for the last three berths in RLWC08 joining

When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets for the tournament will be printed and dispatched from the week
commencing Monday 3rd March. Please allow ten working days for delivery
and report any
tickets purchased during November – February but not received by the
March 30.
